A Chandni Chowk kirana store cut billing time by 60%

The situation

A third-generation grocery counter in Chandni Chowk, roughly 280 bills on a weekday, half of them loose goods weighed on a separate scale. Credit was recorded in a diary that only the owner could read.

What was blocking them

There was no room for a computer. Two vendors had quoted a desktop tower and both quotes were declined because the machine would not physically fit.

What we installed

A 12-inch compact terminal, an 80mm printer, a 1D scanner and a 30 kg POS-linked weighing scale — the Kirana Store Bundle. Installed on a Sunday morning, staff trained the same day.

What changed

Loose items now bill at the weight the scale reports, so there is no re-typing and no argument. Udhaar sits in a customer ledger and statements go out on WhatsApp on the first of the month. Recovery improved immediately.
